One of the key aims of Shotokan Nation is to foster collaboration between associations and karateka. In Shotokan Nation we have no problem with karateka being members of more than one association. We therefore have two types of membership for individuals:
Member – this is for karateka that belong to and train at a Shotokan Nation club. Your membership will be linked to your club, and will give you access to training at the club and at Shotokan Nation courses, competitions, and gradings. Your membership will include insurance, and registration with the English Karate Federation.
Independent Member – this is for karateka that do not usually train at a Shotokan Nation club, but wish to train with us when they can, either at one of our clubs or at a Shotokan Nation course. Your membership will include insurance for when you are training with us, and registration with the English Karate Federation.
The cost of membership, whatever your age or grade or type of membership, is £25 annually, or £15 six monthly.
Please note that you will need a passport-style digital photograph available to upload during the joining process.
